Deathly Hallows...
FYI, if I suddenly go silent in the middle of the PR trip, it's because I'm planning on about halfway through the trip to not read any journals or do any surfing whatsoever to avoid HP spoilers. The book is arriving in our mail while were gone so I probably will only be available by email and not lj or anything from the 20th to about the 30th or so.

oooh, ooooh, does this mean I can read it while I babysit the cats? I'm waiting for the paperback to buy it myself. Cheaper that way.

Should arrive the 19th or 20th I think. If you can finish it before we get back, help yourself!

The more time you spend, the happier I am. Let me know if there are any other bribes I can toss your way to keep you around the cats.

Or, if there are any major chain bookstores in San Juan which get English-language books, you could buy it there, and have time to read it on planes, waiting in lines, etc.

Nah, I've already paid for the thing, I'm not gonna get it twice.

and then there's also the fact that you'll be on VACATION... you shouldn't be online anyway. you should spend the entire time away from computers.

A: Karen and Michelle tend to take a long time to get into motion, so I will have plenty of spare time.

B: There are certain things that if I don't keep up with (email, for example) I will be very stressed about. Having a computer along will KEEP me relaxing, as opposed to scanning everywhere for a cheap i-cafe, worrying about how far behind I am.
