This is the most Irish icon I have 0_o
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY

This is the first St. Patrick's Day that I actually am aware of the fact that I'm Irish. (I actually found out LAST St. Pat's Day about 10:30 pm) I'm planning on Irishing up and going out to the local bar later this afternoon, but for the moment, here are some related comics, and the lyrics to the chorus of a Flogging Molly song...

These aren't the most WITTY Flogging Molly Lyrics (I could have posted the chorus to Kiss My Irish Ass) but these amuse me, just the same...

"Fuck you, I'm drunk
Fuck you, I'm drunk
Pour my beer down the sink,
I've got more in the trunk!

Fuck you, I'm drunk
Fuck you, I'm drunk
And I'm going to be drunk
till the next time I'm drunk!"

EDIT: A Muppet Tribute...

Before you were Irish, what were you?

The traditional American Slumgullion, I just didn't know about that last ingredient. I'm mainly Hungarian and German, though.

Slumgullion is as Irish as salmagundi..

...And I'm going to be drunk
till the next time I'm drunk!

(And then I smoke two more...)

That's pretty much the size of it. The song is directed to a gal who tells him to stop drinking and it seemed such a beautifully Irish response...

You mean a Great deal to me, even when I am unable to communicate - I feel paralyzed somehow - :/

Things can only get better, right? ;)

Great icon! And things can only get better when you've got a handful of baby squirrels. Go out and find some baby squirrels to hold ^_^

I personally would also suggest talking to the Guy Upstairs, even if you end up yelling at him a bit, because at least it's a relationship. You know he'll at least always listen. So if you can't communicate here, you can communicate that way.

Hey, you can ask him to pass a message on! That way you only have to be able to think in your head to him and I'll still get a message from you, right? ^_~

All amusing stuff, though I have to say, that bit from the Muppets is probably a big part why that song always bugged me as a kid. Beaker creeped me out back then especially.

So, I share video with you, suitably Irish and hilarious, though it's been a couple of weeks since when I should've shared it. ;)

That's why I've listened to it a dozen or two times since I was first shown it some time in the past month.

They have other awesome songs, all a capella. They're called "Da Vinci's Notebook". ^_^
