A step above...

The nice thing about having night classes across from the college art gallery is once in a blue moon the college buys me wine, cheese and double-chocolate ice cream cake to snack on before class time ^_^

EDIT: Also sweet, hot, lemon cream tea!

Okay, that's an odd coinkidink...
Go here and read about art school..

(I know you thought she was being all pretentious with the "y" spelling and all, but the more I read her opinions about art classes, art people and art in general, the more I keep getting this nagging impression that if you actually Looked, you'd find her a kindred spirit...)

(...either that, or you'd find her even more of a nutcase than any artist-type you deal with now...)
(Mind you, in the art world, that may be a compliment to you both..:D)

a: It's friends-locked, I can't get in.

b: I never said she was pretentious.

Oh, right, she did lock it... (so much for that thought.)

Even better, the teacher in the art dept. who set it up was one of my former teachers and remembered me. She told where she got the cheese, so I can try and get more, and I bet the same local store was where she got the ice cream cake. Both of them were mouthgasmic. Well worth cheating on any diet.

Sweet =) What kinda cheese was it?
Fritters: Cheeeese! by Frittersfritters on February 20th, 2009 08:18 pm (UTC)
It was orange and seemed to be in the cheddar family, but it had little herby bits in it and that seemed to make all the difference. It was pretty crumbly. I'll probably recognize it.

If you get a chance, there's an herbed orange-type cheese from Trader Joe's and an ice cream chocolate layered cake from the same place they served, you NEED to try them, they were fantastic.

It all balances out. They've torn holes in our walls at the apartment, and they will remain open for at least another week. But knowing I can get my two favorite foods I tried last night from the local store will help ^_^

Again??!?
Sheesh. What are they digging for?

(Must search local TJs for herb cheese...)

They're searching for where the leak they've fixed three times is coming from. This is the one in the Spar Oom where the carpet gets wet when it rains.
