I would ask WTF...but I don't think that covers this...that whole thing about a oicture being worth a thousand words....I don't think so, not in either of these cases.*shudders* Highly weird..

Um... forgive me, but I don't see what's so weird about either one...

Very Slavic-looking girl of uncertain age with very Crimean-looking guy of uncertain confidence, posing for silly shot in backyard kiddie-swing in such summertime regalia as is available in rural Belarus.
Admittedly, they're not pretty, picturesque people, but it reminds me of some of those depression-era shots of poor folks living in the Dust Bowl. In fact, they look so familiar they almost seem, well, fannish in their unsavvitude...

Okay, maybe that makes them weird.

in the sequel, your slavic girl has a mustache and a very flat chest (no hint even of breasts).

Very odd. I had to put them side-by-side to see the difference. "Her" face and hair are broader and neater in the first pic, so I thought the sequel was him wearing "her" clothing...

Bad pic from fannishly unglamorous home photo album, but still don't see what's so odd about 'em (betting maybe a quarter of the pix I've been involved in looked just as dorky.)

What's odd is that as far as I can tell they're GOING for as dorky as possible!

The sequel points out the weirdness more. The middle aged woman is actually a youngish guy.....

Umm ok. Where on earth did you find those? Those are kinda odd.

Go to my page to comment and see the links on the right? It's from fuckallyall.com's last 20 pictures on LJ feed. When you check it late at night you get a lot of Russian Weirdness.

*has uncontrolable laughing fit*

The standing man's expression is absolutely priceless

The expression and the posture and everything....yeah. Wow.
