Half the people in my illustration class have an art degree already or are professionals. I can draw a still life, if given about 8 hours. In one week I will be asked to draw a mythical creature from out of my imagination, with nothing to copy from. It will be about 20% of my grade. Anything from my imagination looks like something a 5th grader could draw.

And don't get me started on the workload in algebra.

I'm soooooooo frustrated. I can see my beautiful 4.0 slipping away because of illustration. I can see having to take it 3 times.

This is the part where I beat my head against the wall, if it isn't the part where the instructor pulls me aside and asks "Why did you choose to major in art? Have you considered the service industry?"
