DO NOT look under the cut if you are even THINKING of seeing Serenity and haven't yet! The following two icons are for people who HAVE seen Serenity...

If you use, credit Fritters (me) in keywords. I THINK most images from still-flying.net.

Took em, even though I haven't seen it yet. I love them just the same! Thanks! :D

SHAME ON YOU!! Don't spoil the movie for yourself!! I'd MUCH rather you live without the icons than spoil yourself!

Is it just me, or did Book look really different in the movie. His face was so gaunt. Still sounded like him, though, for the most part. There were places where I wasn't sure, but mostly it did sound like him.

HE DID! I was thinking he looked really unwell. I hope it was makeup and not that Ron Glass is having major health problems. It's bad enough having the character die.

I'm so taking the Wash one! I nearly balled like a baby when that thing skewered him.

I waited to look until after the movie, and I'm not sure it would have spoiled it for me, as it could be: you can't have my boyfriend. I hardly recognised Book with all that hair, and thought he was just called "Shepard". Even though I did not see the series, the spike scene was really hard on me. I didn't cry but I was totaly shocked, and kept trying to figure out how they were going to get out of it and make him be ok. I woke up the next moring totaly depressed and crying, and I don't know if it was the movie, or if my life was getting to me again. I'm sort of used to feeling anxious, but I hate it when I feel depressed. I went back to sleep, and woke up somewhat better. Great movie, very intense for me. I will see it again when it comes out on DVD. The big screen was almost too much for me, plus we sat pretty close. I could have done without the revers, (ravers?) But they were a big part of the story.

Yeah, the reavers are pretty intense. And if you think the spike scene was hard on you, think about the people who have Wash as their favorite character....

Part of the reason that the spike scene was so horrible for me was because he looks a lot like my brother did when he was younger. I'm sure it was all that much more horrible for those that thought of him as their favorite. I hardly knew any of the characters. I was afraid that River would die too, and was a little surprised when she didn't.
