Why do I never post about my life?
...because nothing ever happens in my life. On most days, I consider this a blessing. Here's some stuff.

The weirdest plants you've ever seen. Very cool looking, but warning, load time like whoah.

Secondly, Happy Thanksgiving, Canada!

First one is pretty good, it proves I actually read all of yer damn posts ^_^

------------------------------

You have a total of 55 friends
You requested to guess 55 entries.
2 were skipped due to invalid content (surprising?).
You made 53 guesses.
You got 49 correct.
Doing the math for you, that means you got 92% correct

Guess that Friend

-----------------------------

What with meme posts from you guys, it's hard to score that high....

-----------------------------

Your World View

You are a fairly broadminded romantic and reasonably content.
You value kindness and try to live by your ideals.
You have strong need for security, which may be either emotional or material.

You respect truth and are flexible.
You like people, and they can readily make friends with you.
You are not very adventurous, but this does not bother you.

-------------------------------

Your Birthdate: December 14

With a birthday on the 14th of the month (5 energy) you are inclined to work well with people and enjoy them.
You are talented and versatile, very good at presenting ideas, and you are also very good at organization and systematizing.
You may have a tendency to get itchy feet at times and need change and travel.

You tend to be very progressive, imaginative and adaptable. Your mind is quick, clever and analytical. A restlessness in your nature may make you a bit impatient and easily bored with routine, and rebel against it.
You have a tendency to shirk responsibility.

-----------------------------

Goliath

You scored 60% Pride, 35% Envy, 17% Ambition, and 40% Deceitfulness!

You are Goliath, a proud warrior of your people. Though despite your
personal glory, you remained a foot soldier instead of the king that
you probably could have been. This is because you are content to let
someone else dominate the world. You are rather lazy and unmotivated,
so naturally, you tend to avoid positions of responsibility like the
plague. You are a gentle hero to your countrymen (i.e. your friends,
family, social groups), but a despised villain to people outside of
these groups. This is probably due to your arrogance and open
hostility. In fact, you are very well known for your directness and
your ?mean what you say, say what you mean? attitude. This attribute,
combined with your pride, gives you an uncanny resemblance to the WWF
wrestlers of today?you are viewed as either a hero or a villain
depending on the allegiance of the fans.

P.S. This is a really important weekend for Serenity. I saw it again. Hope you do, too.

I actually do read all the results. I personally find them facinating. I tend to be a little more sloppy if I am reading them just before heading off to bed (i.e. actually reading them in bed on my laptop), such as now ;)

Oh, and totally planning to watch Serenity on Monday. It's our long weekend, and this way, I won't have to worry about work the next day. Plus I am going with a friend or 2 :) planning to expand their horizon.

As soon as I get off day shift, I will have to raid your massive icon collection and grab a few :)

"This is a really important weekend for Serenity. I saw it again. Hope you do, too."

By the most remarkable of coincidences, yes. I saw it again, also. What are the odds?

I'd say it's a far more important weekend for "Mirrormask" than it is for Serenity. (I mean, after all, explain why a movie written by Neil Gaiman, critters illustrated by the guy who did the artwork for Sandman, and then animated by the Jim Henson Creature Shop is only in 18 theaters in the US, three of which are in SoCal? I don't get this.)

But it doesn't matter, alas. I'm not seeing either this weekend. Maybe sometime next week.

We were trying to find somewhere we could see it and Serenity and couldn't find anywhere local showing it. Annoying. We do indeed want to see Mirrormask,
OwlDragonowldragon1 on October 9th, 2005 09:25 am (UTC)
I've never even heard of Mirrormask until just now. Apparently it's not showing in TN or NC, or there'd be ads somewhere on TV or radio locally, and there's not.

Download a trailer, you'll love the look of it. It's damned damned pretty.
OwlDragonowldragon1 on October 9th, 2005 08:09 pm (UTC)
I should soon get something faster than dialup, so I can freely download big things whenever I like.

BTW, do you know what software's needed to view that link to weird plants? I get nada when I follow it.
Fritters: Ed Resting by Frittersfritters on October 10th, 2005 02:47 am (UTC)
It's an .avi so windows media player. If you can't get it to load in the window, look at the source, you can download it directly from there.
OwlDragonowldragon1 on October 9th, 2005 09:28 am (UTC)
If I didn't read the meme results, how would I weed through them to know which ones to try, and possibly post my own results? If I don't know what your result was, I'd have no idea if I'd want to know my own, right? :P
Fritters: Ed Peering by Frittersfritters on October 9th, 2005 09:32 am (UTC)
What interesting logic! I like it!
OwlDragonowldragon1 on October 9th, 2005 08:06 pm (UTC)
You mean there are other ways of choosing which memes to swipe? How do you do it?
Frittersfritters on October 10th, 2005 02:46 am (UTC)
I DO scan people's results, but mainly I take all the quizzes and if the results seem accurate I post, if they seem random (no matter how accurate) or innaccurate, I just flush them.

That was kinda a cool link. Lots of eyes.
I got 20/22 on the friends list meme.

So about the same percentage.... I suppose I might've gone higher if there wern't so many damne meme posts that day.

And Happy (not your) Thanksgiving to you!
Fritters: TT SF Pleased by ellonwye and frittersfritters on October 11th, 2005 05:03 am (UTC)
I hope it was really nice ^_^ I suppose I should check my friends list to find out, though, eh?
Robyn Goodfellow: surrealrobyngoodfellow on October 11th, 2005 05:04 am (UTC)
Yeah, except I haven't actually made my thanksgiving post yet.
I guess I should get on that.
