Kim Possible Wallpaper
In an effort to be a little more comfortable with Illustrator, I whipped up a wallpaper from Kim Possible. I polished it up in Photoshop, of course, I'm not a GLUTTON for punishment. Here's the thumbnail...

If you click on it, you'll go to the directory I plopped five sizes into, with the smallest being #5, which is 800x600 and the largest being 1600x1200 and named #1. If you want a size in between just click on one of the puppies and any decent browser will tell you the size you've arrived at on the top bar.

Yeah, I'm being lazy and not listing all the sizes with direct links, but you're all bright wizards of the internet and can work it out, not to mention after making this thing all day and dyeing my hair I think I deserve to cut a corner or two on the html here.

So how does your hair look? What shade did you pick?

IT'S TOO RED!! It makes my hair look thinner and me look older. I can't WAIT until it fades! I specifically did it 2 weeks before the trip so that it would have time to fade, though. LORD I hope it fades well, it's way too clowny and fake right now.

Red is the MOST fadie color, just wash it a lot, like every day and shampoo twice. Use lots of conditioner though.

Whatever you do, DO NOT USE RED OUT! It is green, and cuts the red but makes it NASTY.

Hang in there hon, poodle head here feels your pain.

I'm not going to do anything to it for at least I week 'cause I know how it fades, I'm just semi-unhappy at the moment. I'm trying not to panic yet.

I've never heard of red-out, how weird!!

Yeah, they have a "toner" for when your hair gets too red or too brassy or too green.

I think they actually just complicate things. A lot.

Once I used a chestnut brown cellophane on porus, very abused, bleached and permed hair. It was pretty for a while, then the top color fell out and the base, a boiled spinich green remained. YUCK! I knew there was nothing that I could do for about three days, and I had to work. I put my hair in a pony tail, (the front and top were ok, the perm had grown out some) and halled my ass to work. I think a total of three people noticed and commented, wow, that was weird, in this light, your hair looks green! I told them the story, and then never bought anything with a green or ash base again (Ash, my old roommate turned her bleached blonde SILVER with ash blonde color)

We suffer a lot for beauty......Hang in there!

The really ironic thing is that I used to do my hair a totally wild shade of burgandy indoors, and flaming fire red in the sun, and I had a blast with it, but I was a lot younger then and could get away with it.

I used to here people say, "did you see the girl with the purple hair?" when I was inside, and out side, they just stared and smiled and I got special attention in crowds. Especially when the wind blew it around.

Sigh, it is hell getting old.

It really is. Because of the pink in the shade, which I'd LOVE to replace with more yellow, it makes it really obvious where my hair is thin and you can see my scalp a lot more. Makes me wanna go out and buy rogaine.

Wow, that really really sucks......

I never thought of your hair as thin. It looks to me like you have a lot, but that each strand is fine, and very straight.

Mine is very straight, which is why I am addicted to perms.

Once I had to do my ex husbands hair for a wedding where he was the best man. He had a pony tail at the time. I just could not get it to comb back without seperating into sections on the top of his head. Finally I got ticked and back combed it at the scalp then combed it over. It looked fine at that point. I know you have back combed the leingth, and it did not stay, but does it stay at the scalp?

Oh, it was funny too, he had a ratty long ponytail with a very thin end, so I curled it under with a bobby pin and turned it into a "que" it was great, at the wedding, when he walked down the isle, everyone giggled when they saw the back of his hair. The wedding color was teal so I tied a teal ribbon around the band and cut the ends off underneith. It was a lot of fun.

I can't really backcomb, it's too thin. Not only doesn't it stay, I can't brush it later without a lot of breakage.

That sounds adorable, by the way. I love little "que"s
