Wow! Sounds like you had an amazing first day.

But... Watching the Anime Network? Seriously. On a beach, on a tropical island, watching tv?!?!

You are not the first (or last) person to be confused by Michelle's actions, and not the only person to not understand why she preferred watching tv then. In her defense, neither our cable or the satellite people I've checked with carry that station, so in PR was the only chance for any of us to see it. I myself gave it about an hour and a half of my vacation. We were puzzled by the amount she gave it, though.

...isn't Pink Owl a bubblegum cigar?
(Don't remember what the yellow and blue bubblegum cigars were called tho...)

Lots of booze happened in Puerto Rico. :) It looks nifty there. It's now on my list of places to visit in Winter. :)

If you go, you must get to our restaurant in Arecibo, okay? Winter is probably way more tolerable, too. The water is sooo warm, it's almost TOO warm, it's almost like bathwater, you can stay in it ALL DAY!!

I have no idea why you used that icon.

I don't know either.

I would like some ocean bathwater please. :D

Yeah, your water is colder than ours and ours is still cold enough to Suck.

I looked it up and the water at the inland top of baja is good. I might try to swing a long weekend there. We're learning spanish anyways...

i'm glad to read that you did not neglect the rum food group while you were there.

did you guys get the money situation settled?

my parents once took us to london, when we were living in europe. they travel pretty cheap. the hotel they book in london? was being demolished when we arrived. we ended up staying at the apartment hughes kept for visiting execs. teh win!

Yeah, the money problem reverted to the original agreement. And oh yes, rum was high on the list of important Caribbean items.

Oh, that's awesome about London! What was it like, the apartment I mean?

Well, as to criticism insofar as creative writing goes, let me address some formal issues before we delve into the critique itself. Ecktually, with respect to the semiological thrust of the. . .ahem. . .

Just kidding. What, you don't want me to say anything about your trip report??

It was funny, it was charming, it was informative, and told us exactly how the trip affected you emotionally. When you said you were crying on the plane, I wanted to be in the seat behind, wrapping my arms around you, saying, "There, there. There, there. . ."

Which means your piece was WELL-WRITTEN! You silly thing.
Nice. And the pictures were wonderful.

Thanks so much for putting so much effort into this.

Mainly I just didn't want anyone looking too deeply at my grammar! 0_o I think I am the queen of sentence fragments some days.

And I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'll be making more as soon as I get all the pictures transferred over to Sarah's computer, which she is being a doll and letting me borrow. (See? I started a sentence with "and"!!)
