Beethoven's Fifth Argument...
I just HAD to share this with y'all. I found parts of it absolutely laugh-out-loud funny. Sid Caesar and Nanette Fabray having an argument to the melody of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. Stolen from VeryShortList.

The whole "Yes! No!" section was hilarious. Oh my god and the ending cracked me up. "OH CRAP IT WAS THE DOG!"

Yeah, I loved that not only was it to the music, it was funny, you could understand what they were fighting about AND had a punchline!

Judging from the sketches I've seen, "Your Show of Shows" must have been wonderful. (No, I'm not old enough to have seen it when it was first on the air!)

It was so funny that people around the country who had never even seen an Italian movie, a Japanese movie, an opera, or almost anything cultural, laughed at the esoteric parodies, the hip humor. The show was that funny. Even as a kid I thought it was hilarious, and most of the jokes soared over my head.
