Firstly, I made a spoof of the California Lottery signs that pimps something much more deserving.

Secondly, some dude got a shot of me on the first day of school and it made it onto the school paper's website. If you want to see me waiting for the college parking lot bus, click on the lj-cut.

Ha! Libraries are great things to pimp. Much better than the voluntary tax on the statistically challenged (and yes, I am included in that number).

Great pic! Reminds me of how different our climates are though, 'cause if it was that bright and sunny here, I would NOT be wearing a coat.

I'd love it if my local library used it for something, but I'm willing to bet it's copyright infringment like whoah. That's why on DevArt I put it under fanart, for the copyright protection.

It was actually pretty cold that morning. But after being in the sun awhile I DID take it off.

Buh?

Up here, lotteries are government run. And there's saying I heard somewhere once, which is where my comment stems from "lotteries are a tax on people who can't do math."

Oh, absolutely.

I use them for sun protection, being a delicate flower of femininity and all, but the Kaylee reference of it doesn't hurt ^_^

I concur on all parts. :D

Also I finally got to see Firefly for the first time a couple months ago.

Sadly, there are lots of people wrestling with the problem that it usually isn't free...

It's as free as welfare and college grants...

True! But I've also noticed folks out there who charge enormous amounts for their rather questionable knowledge... Between these guys and the wonderfulness of libraries, I'm not quite sure it evens out to reasonable...

The poorer you are, the cheaper knowledge is.

OK, I'm sorry. I certainly didn't mean to insult anyone, especially Christians. I thought I'd mentioned my very pro-Christian feelings enough times on LJ that everyone would understand that I was just amused at the absurdity of that parody. When you seemed to be calling me a bigot on something I thought I'd made my feelings about very clear, it hurt *my* feelings. I hope you'll Friend me again, but if you don't, I'll just have to live with the consequences of losing my temper.
