Have you moved in the last 5 years?

ONLY THOSE WHO ANSWERED YES: Do you consider this a premoninantly good or bad thing?

P.S. You can't change the spelling in a poll after you've already created an LJ poll. Yes, I know I spelled predominantly incorrectly.

In the last five years I've moved several times:
2004: moved from my room in my parent's basement to the master bedroom in the same house after they moved out. (doesn't really count, I suppose)
Late 2005: moved from Colorado to Oregon for a girl (not the brightest idea in history, but it was fun at the time)
Mid 2006: moved to another apartment in Portland, OR, sans the aforementioned girl.
Aug 2008: moved back to Lakewood, CO.
Nov 2008: friends bought a house, I moved in to their basement.

And of course, in between all these, and a month or two after my last move, I helped friends move their stuff. At one point it felt like I had been packing and/or moving boxes and furniture for five or six weeks straight...

And in general you consider most of them positive moves?

Once they were done I didn't regret them
I regretting procrastinating as much as I did about packing, but once everything was moved I never said "I wish I hadn't moved..."

I feel a little bad about the last one, since I left on very little notice. Just after Thanksgiving I handed my landlord November's rent and said "I'm moving out this weekend. definitely gone before Dec 1" not giving him a lot of time to find a new room mate to help split the mortgage for the house...

Yes, I'd consider all of them positive moves, for me at least. ;)
