Have you moved in the last 5 years?

ONLY THOSE WHO ANSWERED YES: Do you consider this a premoninantly good or bad thing?

P.S. You can't change the spelling in a poll after you've already created an LJ poll. Yes, I know I spelled predominantly incorrectly.

Well, since I'm living in a different place, but haven't moved yet...

Moved many times. The good ones had bad results too, sometimes more over time. The bad ones did the opposite, especially over time. Something always got broken. Setting up new room from scratch felt better than cleaning up the old room. Mostly... it was just something you have to go through, no matter how messy - like a mud hazard or a birth canal.

Do you feel you're in a better place because of the moves?

...you mean in a better place now, after all the moves (approx) 25 years ago, 22 years ago, 20 years ago, 17 years ago, 15 years ago, 13 years ago, 11 years ago, 8 years ago, and the one that hasn't happened yet?

Sorry, that's just too complicated a vector to add.
Right now, I'm marginally in the best place I've ever been in, (meaning, both location and situation), but how much of Now really happened "Because Of" each move? And how much would have happened even if I hadn't?

I don't see moving as an "answer" to get one to a better space. The better space has to be there first, and this might mean you have to Not move to get it.
