Have you moved in the last 5 years?

ONLY THOSE WHO ANSWERED YES: Do you consider this a premoninantly good or bad thing?

P.S. You can't change the spelling in a poll after you've already created an LJ poll. Yes, I know I spelled predominantly incorrectly.

Feb 2005 - Moved out of the parents' house. Good thing.

Sep 2005 - Moved to Jackson, MS post Katrina. Rent free thanks to the company paying for it, and I achieved a lot of independence being 300 miles from everyone I knew except coworkers. Very good thing.

May 2006 - Moved somewhat back home. Was in a townhouse this time rather than an apartment complex. While too far away from work and b/f, it was over all a good thing.

Jan 2007 - Had to leave that apartment because boss also being landlord was a no no for the company. Ended up in a larger sq ft townhouse closer to everything. Good thing.

Sep 2008 - Bought my own home. Undoubtably very good thing.

I hate moving itself: the packing, the coordinating, the expenses, the begging people to help, the inevitable losing/breaking of something but once that is all said and done its great to be at the new place.
